What do you enjoy most about being a lawyer? The most satisfaction I get as a lawyer is when I can put my client’s mind at ease. Any time you see that you actually helped someone, it makes you work that much harder going forward.
Why did you choose education/school law as your preferred practice area? I come from a very long line of schoolteachers, professors, and administrators and have been privileged by the education I received. After spending a few years in the personal injury arena, I wanted to refocus my career on helping schools, families, and lawmakers come together for the benefit of everyone.
What do you love about working in Detroit? The city is coming back alive and it’s an honor to have a front-row seat to all the incredible changes.
